Ted—Alex Ovechkin’s “Knee check” in Raleigh will come back to haunt him. He is the best player I have ever seen, but he plays with abandon that has now come to harm him, I think.
Knee checks are hated throughout the league and every team he plays will now be sending goons to cripple him. He has unwittinglty made himself a target.
I hope I am wrong. I so much enjoy watching him and all the Caps….but, he could have ended that guyys career on Monday and everyone in the league saw it. Alex is now a target for any real physical NHL player.
Whoooo boy….what are you paying him?
