Wow. The POTUS’s approval ratings are sinking. These are low numbers for only being in office for 13 months or so and for having - for the most part - the three Ps, ”pretty positive press.”
When you get to 57 percent disapproval ratings on several subjects, it may be time for a Plan B. I don’t have an answer but I do know the wisdom of crowds on big picture issues is pretty articulate and fair and for the most part, the vox populi here is not pretty or positive. Check out the Gallup Poll numbers.

I have been thinking President worked the magic he does to be elected to the office he now holds. Once there, think he has not made the decisions or acknowledgments for himself that he needs to if he wants a second term. He needs to know in his mind for himself who showed up at the polls on November 4th of ‘08 a full two to three DECADES before anyone expected them to get out of bed and along with every other vote; decidedly handed Mr. Obama the presidency.
President Obama needs to acknowledge who it is that is with him; have the power to hand him his second term without much effort on his part.
Who is Hope and Change personified.
Those are not of Barack Obama. He is not Change or Hope. Now just another in a long line of campaign slogans, broken promises, and half-truths those who seek our vote to be elected to these public offices speak from the side of their mouths and we citizens have come to take as the powerless way of being that is us as citizens that most have long dismissed as in the past; a poster we saw first one day then for a time in our commuinties as we went about and then became ubiquitous for a time, now something of the past for many.
Oh no; my dear friends. Not the past at all.
We have no past. This is the future.
Barack Obama is not Change or Hope and these are not forgotten campaign slogans forgotten to be a part of our past.
Hope and Change is our future. These silently and patiently wait and watch as they have for three lifetimes now.
The other thing Barack Obama needs to decide for himself as the President of the United States of America and as a first term President seeking a second term and politician; after he defines for himself and acknowledge in his mind who it was that handed him the presidency the group that not alone elected him, but decidedly swung things his way; Ohio, Virginia, each swing state he had to take to do this.
Then aside and separate from this make the decision whether he will keep this group he has hard and will be with him for life should he like; or now an incumbent President of the United States will he play it as it has always been done, now in the office he has the choice to play the two-party game that is our red herring and seek to achieve his second term in this way.
Decide this and begin to take immediate action towards winning that second term.
For me; to him I say; forget everything asside from winning the second term; leave everything. This charade of health INSURANCE won’t use some of the words I want to here is Obama picking up the shovel; going into the graveyard; choosing a nice little plot and starging to dig. (oh ;-o that was much better than the words I wanted to use ;-D
Another thing I would like Obama to do. Decide what kind of man he is. How does he behave in this amazing undefined reality of us. What potential of this phenomenal man the fist black man elected president of the United States does he work to realize with this power he has in this office to further the human condition as the world looks to him and the US and will follow our lead.
Nothing is intrinsic or assured or indicated that our tomorrow will be anything so casual and our lives this luxuirious as we know them today. I think we are in a time where we could go either way.
With the right people; working together and all of us; the world, we will go one way; as we now are; separate; watching televisions, taking in our daily dose of news programming as the sum of our civic life and interaction in our relationship with the community and nation as individual citizens people separated primarily by our very system the two-party system primarily functions to divide the US citizenry and set one against the other. In this we are divided, fall, and are powerless as those which have and will thieve our power do and keep that which they have long had.
My president I always have in my Mastermind as the model for the US? Theodore Roosevelt; far-and-away; in-your-face-as-large-as-life-may-allow man of great energy who has spend a life defining himself for himself so that much of any consideration or debate completed in his thirties, in life as the US president and middle-age the answers, reactions, and behavior comes instinctual without pause or question.
He is a man who knows himself well; has a clear; well considered clarity of reality and these lives we lead with a big, booming, loud and powerful voice heard round the country and the world he uses primarily this his powerful voice and we developed mind and with words that come quick unrestrained or self-edited; flow as water through a steady deep stream. Calm on it’s surface this stream flows consistently year round. And is in its way-of-being natural and fearless.
Teddy Roosevelt a man very real and very much a part of us yet virtually impossible to image this man alive here today. Do men like Teddy Roosevelt exist anymore. Is it possible that men like this live here now in this place among us? I don’t know. Of the cuff; I … won’t answer ;-D
Teddy Roosevelt with joy and love seemingly fearless with great energy and vigor lived his life and changed this nation and the world with his big, booming, loud voice. The way I am seeing everybody involved. Nobody has any voice at all. Those who are our leaders do not speak or have a voice that I hear. I am at the capitol regularly and I see bats in the floodlights in the tens of thousands come to feast on the great bounty found there. I like to think of the bats not unlike the senators and representatives who also come to feast on the swarm found there. But, I like the bats much more. For me; the bats are better ;-D
Forget all President Barack Obama; how are you going to change this world we live in with this power you hold in your hand? How president Obama are you going to fight the fight that is this life we lead; who are your enemies you do battle with; on what battlefields to you fight. How hard do you run and to where are you running?
A great many of us have been running hard, hard, hard of a a long time now. We are the only ones where we are. Nobody is catching up with us. There’s a group; I was alone for quite some time. Do you see us? Way out in-front sending messages back from the future?
Keep an eye out. You’ll see us. We’re fast though ;-D
The question is not the ugly and already so boring I am crying “what will your legacy be?, or how will history consider you?, but How President do you fight the fight to make what changes for us here alive in this world with the power you hold in your hand. How hard do you fight and how hard do you run President Obama. We are coming and we are not like any before us. We are not like you or any other Generation. We have chosen you to be a friend. Will you come out side and hang with us? Be our friend? or just be in our way when we come running through fighting like we do?
No matter really.
We have come to expect nothing but resistance and friction from any but our own, so we don’t really even care what you do or are paying any attention to you or what you are, who you are, what you say or do, where you go, or anything else. Man; we’ve been gone. You lost us years back.
I also suggest President Obama pick up the multitude of jobs entrusted to him and placed squarely on his back by the American citizens he carried there with him from the evening of Nov. 4th ‘98 into the Whitehouse and somewhere at sometime there in took from his shoulders and set in some corner he must have since been overlooking.
President Obama shirks some very important jobs he will be taken to task on whether he likes it or not.
I understand President Obama has said as president; i paraphrase from memory; There is no Black America. There is not White America. There is only one America united.
Oh; no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That is completely unacceptable.
Does he really think he’s going to say that and get of like that? Really? I am insluted. I may not want to be his friend if that’s how he’s going to be ;-/
There are multiple Black America’s and mulitple White Americas and these are very real, very American communities which are great in number and have long defined themselves as these named, unique and different from the other Americas.
I don’t think President is really that unknown to the reality of this country he leads to believe that. I can only conclude Obama is shirking THE most important job he has in that office entrusted to him.
If nothing else; he will address this and be the president of the United states we elected him to be and not a smiling puppet of any kind of voiceless establishment we are really worried he is as we now see him.
Obama’s half white man. There is a Black America president obama. And they have been silently, waiting, watching; … you … to see which color you are. Numbering in the tens of millions still they wait and watch and will respond in kind to you. If you ask me; our skirts have not been blown up by anything we have seen so far ;-/
Yes Barack Obama there is a Black America and A White America and you have the job of finding your voice to speak loud and booming and change this nation and the world. Our skirts are not blown up.

might be mad at me now; but my peers are a complete train wreck anyway; I have been working only with boomers for several months now; and those very leery of me because of the abysmal reputation I carry from the rest of my generation. I wonder if many know that we are known by others as this. I bet they don’t; would be surprised not quite the princesses and life successes of importance they think themselves to be ;-D I’ve been thinking about how to break it to them; whether I should even bother.
