  1. Ted! Say it ain’t so. What does this astro-getup have to do with the Caps, or hockey, or sports at all, for that matter??? This guy is just an attention w****. You own the team, and your box, so far be it from me to tell you who to invite, but this makes me sad.

    Thanks, as always, for accepting the fan-generated entertainment factor. It’s contageous and adds to the sporting event. I told my wife about “Capstronaut” on the way in Friday Night and explained what separates the Caps fan (whether at the arena or not) from the Rangers & Flyersfans’ yadda yadda cliche’ bravado that they bring. This is why I can bring my 4 & 1/2 yr old daughter to the game tomorrow (9th game for her) without worry of guaranteed stupidity, mine none-withstanding!

  4. If you can discern who the O.G. Capstronaut is amongst the charlatans, maybe you should be discussing if one can buy an actual NASA-used spacesuit? Perhaps the Caps organization can show their support of returning to the Moon by modding a Zamboni to look like a lunar lander.

  7. I predict you’ll have at least three guys show up at the owner’s box door in spacesuits tonight and one of them will do it so they can ask, “Why did you trade so-and-so?”

  9. You should let this guy sit directly in front of you. While I could not care less what anyone wears to the game, I would not like sitting directly behind this guy. Further, I would not want to sit/smell anywhere near him when the weather warms up.

  11. Isn’t Capstronaut great? You can’t help but smile when you see him and know that in a goofy, sublime way he’s putting the fanatical into fan.

    Just giving you a hard time.. its cool to see people go all out for caps games now.
