A Love Note to My Partners

I am really pleased, honored and excited to have a great group of friends to be my partners in ownership of our teams. Lincoln Holdings is run like a huge ethnic family. We are a tight knit group of friends focused on doing well by doing good.

We have – I believe - the most committed; most financially successful; most culturally diverse; and most local and philanthropic group of partners in all of sports.

We all live here in DC, VA and MD. We all go to games. We all serve as huge fans to our teams - no absentee owners here. We are all hyper competitive; want to win; and love the communities we serve.

We all started and grew our companies here; raised our families here; and we love the community and the fan base.

As a reminder, here is a quick snapshot of our ownership group. You can find more information by clicking here to read their full bios.

A Good Vibe and a Bad Feeling

Thank you. Here is a smart piece on our team and its Friday vibe after our three crisp wins so far this week.

But we can’t forget we play again tonight against a young, hungry and really talented team in the Coyotes.

They have blistering speed. They want to be the “next thing” and come in and beat us badly in our house. They have a ton of talent. I am impressed by their team.

Every team in the NHL is talented. Every team can win. It is a long, tough and grinding season. It is hard to get up for every game. Every game is worth two points in the standings. The fans deserve focus and attention to detail on every play.

I want us to play hard tonight and to get another two points. I am greedy that way for our fans.

Also I thank Tom for getting to an important point here. Health is key in the playoffs. The playoffs are an entire second season. If we can play our star players a bit less during the regular season, it will add jump to their legs for the season that really matters.
