After a week like we just concluded, I think everyone on the team is “up.” Check out Japers’ take on the team here.
We now play 11 more games up to the Olympic break. Basically we are playing every other day in this compressed season because of the Olympics.When we return from break, there will only be 20 games left in the regular season. We are at a breakneck pace. We are sprinting to the playoffs and second season now.
I would like to thank everyone who attended and supported us last night at the Caps Care Casino Night. It was so much fun seeing everyone dressed up and looking chic. The games were a lot of fun. The food stations were fantastic and we raised a lot of money for charities last night. The players were wonderful to mingle and have so much fun with our fans, too. I am very appreciative. Jaspers’ up and down is one of the main things I check the blogs for. Some great stuff on there you wouldn’t think about or might not see if you’re watching from home. A great breakdown all around.
I’m really looking forward to watching the Olympic games. Seeing so many of the guys playing in them, and against each other will be interesting.
Casino night looked like it was a blast, maybe for the next one my wife and I will be able to make it out!
I wish I could have attended the event last night, but $250 was too rich for my blood, unfortunately, and I don’t own any formal attire. It sounded like a great deal of fun, though!
