No Wings For You

I actually had a fan come up to me near the owner’s box after the game and shout about how disappointed he was in us that we didn’t score five goals so he could get his free wings. He demanded a refund and said we were mailing it in and that 4-1 wins were unacceptable and that unless we got our act together we should consider firing George and Bruce and that I should consider selling the team as I wasn’t committed.

He was kidding. I think?

Last night was another game and another big win over a divisional opponent in front of another red clad sellout crowd and 42 straight sellouts. I guess the league won’t be contracting the Washington Capitals, eh? :-)  Who said that again? Thanks Caps fans. You have become one of the top, most committed fan bases in the entire NHL!

POTUS and Friends at Georgetown vs. Duke

If POTUS sits in his regular courtside seats at the Duke vs. Georgetown game, I can buy him a hot dog as he would be two seats away from me and my family.

POTUS had better be wearing gray and NOT blue. Or as a seasoned politician, he will probably wear a different color altogether.

We will teach him the chant, “We are–Georgetown; We are–Georgetown!” :-)  Hoya Saxa POTUS.

This will be great news indeed if true. And Georgetown always needs a shooting guard, someone who can hit the three ball and open up the middle. We hear POTUS has a great range behind the arc.
