We have a wonderful relationship with the Hershey Bears. We believe in them as a franchise. We pay homage to them for helping us to be a success in the NHL.
The Bears and the Caps are on quite a run. We as a combined entity have won 18 games in a row and 30 of the last 31 games. The Bears have won 20 of the last 21 games they have played. They have won 16 in a row at home.
Both teams lead the division in points. Both teams lead their leagues in goals scored. The Bears are the best franchise right now in the entire AHL. Go Bears. Go Caps.
How is that for a plan coming together?
oh and if you do buy the bullets…change their name back to the bullets and restore the old classic red white and blue like u did for the caps!!!
rock the red ted!!!
and though i dont really like pro hoops and havent followed the bullets since they turned bad in the early 80s…i hope you buy them and turn them around like u have the caps!!!
Ted…please by the Redskins and rock the burgundy and gold!!!
Only go to Bears games during the playoffs but was lucky enough last year to watch Carlson, Alzner and Sloan play as three of the six Bears defensemen plus Neuvirth in goal when they won the Calder Cup. It was unique to see these same three D-men play on TV comprising three of the six Caps D-men in a recent game during the early part of the 10 game winning streak I think. Hard to believe that the Caps have that kind of NHL quality organizational depth in today’s salary cap era.
I’m been a Caps fan since they were affilated with the Bears during the late 70′s and 80′s. For me this is special time to be a hockey fan in Hershey. During the Bears Calder Cup run in 2006. I told some Cap fans who attended a Bears playoff game that the future was very bright.Fans still have to be patience as players muture.Because some are just kids playing a game.
We love you Ted!!! Thank you for all you’ve done. Both teams are Red Hot!
Don’t forget that our South Carolina Stingrays are dominating their league as well.
Let’s not forget about the South Carolina Stingrays and how they playing.
Glad that the plan is finally coming together, just a few years late.
Without a doubt, the two best teams in the AHL and NHL. Right around the time we became affiliated with the Caps is when I became a hockey/Bears/Caps fanatic. I hope the affiliation last a long, long time. Thanks for recognizing the Bears in your blog. Let’s hope we have a storybook ending for both teams this year.
we need to bring this same domination to the playoffs and we’ll be golden!
