A pizza joint in my hometown of McLean,VA has a sign outside that says…
“The Capitals fuel up before every game at Rocco’s!”
I don’t know if that is true. I don’t know if that is kosher to say but who cares? We are becoming a part of the popular culture now! I loved seeing this kind of community positive vibe and attachment to our positive glow.

How’s the grub? I’m always up for a good pizza spot!
Rocco’s is some good pizza, but I’ve played a few games with pizza as a pre-game meal, and it’s not a good foundation. Whatever the Caps are eating before the games is working! (That would make a great segment for Caps RedLine Monday, hint hint.)
I am very happy to see that local businesses are supporting the Caps. DC is really becoming a hockey town and you’ve earned the thanks of Caps nation for helping make that happen.
