That is actually not too surprising. I live in baltimore and there is a large Capitals following there. Every game I drive home and I see multiple capitals fans heading back to Baltimore. Also, I have had this same experience multiple times in the DC area. Perfect example is during playoff time, washington DC&#039;s ESPN radio station is live from RFDs near the Verizon center. Is there any hockey talk? No, it is all about the redskins. I sat there for 2 hours before the capitals penguins game and other than &quot;live at the RFDs for the capitals penguins game&quot; you heard nothing from the talk show hosts about the capitals. The capitals have always been a Maryland team and I don&#039;t think that will change.</description>
