Are You Not Entertained?

You betcha! Check out these ratings and what it translates into in terms of people.

The Caps vs. Pens draws big and even the Caps vs. Thrashers draws big time, too. We are crossing over into popular culture now. The tent is getting bigger. It is nice and warm inside. Come on in and enjoy during these trying snowy times. Go Caps!

  1. Ted, You are the Greatest!!! Go Caps!!!

Sorry about the remark I made about you having a driver driving you too the games. My friends and I assumed that.

    Stay warm.

  2. Ted, could you get them to postpone the Olympic break. I’d hate to see the winning streak prematurely snapped due to the time off. They should at least postpone it until the Caps finally lose (which by the way they’re
playing it could be the summer olympics). Go Caps!!!

  3. Mr. L,
I am so gratified to see the direction and accomplishments you have taken my beloved Washington Capitals. I first purchased a season ticket plan when the Caps opened the doors at the Capital Center and was a season ticket holder for 20 years. I manned the phones during the Save the Caps campaign for Mr. Pollin and supported his organization in any way I could. Needless to say we have come a long way from Greg Joly to Alex Ovechkin. Thanks to your leadership, this franchise is now considered a super success story and for that I am very grateful. Thank you Mr. L.

  4. You have to admit though, Ted, that Pittsburgh is the standard for hockey viewing, even though that wasteland really has nothing else but hockey (not even football anymore, really), and that includes all forms of culture (virtually absent in Pittsburgh). DC, of course, is an international city with oodles of culture and distractions, although in sports, there is only One Team (for now), and they don’t play football (but don’t tell the WaPo’s columnists, especially, with all due respect, Mike Wise).

You know what they say about Pittsburgh. . . a lot of good people come from Pittsburgh, and the better they are, the faster they come.
