Go Bears! Join lots of Capitals fans in Hershey at a Bears game.

They are the best hockey has to offer in the AHL and the defending Calder Cup winners. We are so proud to be associated with the Hershey Bears.

We go see the Bears 3-4 times a year, and it’s an amazing experience. I’m hoping they get an outdoor game in the near future, like Syracuse did this weekend. There’s a big outdoor stadium in Hershey that would be the perfect venue.

@ Max: That’s an excellent idea. The Bears at Verizon Center once a year is a great idea.

The Caps Road Crew took 50 fans up to see the Bears play last month and afterwards it was unanimous among our guests that we have to make that an annual event. The fans there are tremendous, the game experience is top-notch, and of course, we all know how exciting the team is. It is a “must see” for all Caps fans!

I think that would have been great fun, and would have given some of us a chance to see future Caps. But I know there would have been scheduling and logistics challenges.

Do you think we could have the Bears down here for a pre-season exhibition game with the Caps next season?
