You may be correct that this situation is his reckoning. However, I struggle with the question, “Does he [Mr. Toyoda] recognize it for what it is?” The initial reaction from his company doesn’t indicate that he sees this situation the same way you do.
What a great article…and an opportunity for Mr. Toyoda to re-establish his company as a global leader in the automotive industry. And yes, as you’ve positioned this opportunity, this begins with Mr. Toyoda.
