DOD

We are so honored and pleased to help in our small way. Military Night is always a huge success for us at the Washington Capitals. To make men and woman who serve our country smile makes our day’s work worthwhile. Read this article from the Department of Defense. Thanks to you all for all you do to keep us safe and free.

  1. Sir,

As a weekend plan holder since we retired and moved back to DC and a season ticket holder this year I want to thank you for how you and your outstanding organization recognize the military. From the salutes to heros to the other recognitions you make us feel honored. Thank you!

  2. My wife and I have known about the Military Appreciation night for a while now, unfortunately our schedule didn’t line up to allow us to attend. Was really great to see the boys rocking some camo though, and our first thoughts were ‘How do I get one!?’ only to realize later during the broadcast that they were auctioned off!

I served under General Chiarelli while part of the 1st Cavalry (I was with the 1st Brigade for 5 years before becoming a civilian again!), was nice to see him in this neck of the woods taking in the game.

Every game the Capitals organization tips its cap to the military and every time I’m appreciative as a veteran and as a military spouse now (my wife currently serves as a Naval Nursing Officer).

A hearty thanks for taking the time to honor those who wouldn’t dare ask for it.
