Ted,

Thanks for Military night, I don't think I would have spent that much on an auction if if wasn't for such a good cause.

Support our troops!

Dear Ted,

Military Night really is a great idea for many reasons. Thanks a ton for keeping this event going from year to year.

The Caps Camo Jerseys were really sharp also. Here are some pictures of the Camo Jerseys:

Thank you so much for doing military night. Loved the camo jerseys! I was at the Veteran's Day game back in November and noticed one difference last night that most people may not have picked up on.

The announcer said current and former military do not have to remove their caps and/or may render the hand salute. This is a privilege that few servicemen and women in and out of uniform know about, even though it has been around for years. If you're military, you know you NEVER salute without your military cap/cover on, so this is a big deal for us.

As a former US Marine, I felt exceptionally proud to be able to salute the flag at a Caps game. I was also thrilled to see my co-worker's picture up on the Jumbotron again, hers is first in the collage of slides of the amazing men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. And who are Caps fans!

Just another reason I love the Caps, and what you do. Caps hockey makes me HAPPY!!!

Wow. I actually got Belangers Military Jersey last night. It was money I didn't really have, but as a retired Army guy I really got carried away with the promotion. I think it was a super idea and thanx for honoring the troops.

Now I actually have a pic that Ted posted of Eric Belanger actually wearing the very same Jersey that i now have. Way cool.
