There is a wonderful panel being convened at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business on March 15th at 4:30pm. It will be held at the new business school Hariri Building in the main auditorium.
The panel will be led by Georgetown University President Jack DeGioia and include me, Sheila Johnson Co-founder of BET, Don Graham Chairman of the Washington Post Company, Joe Robert Chairman of the JER Companies and Tom Adams CEO of Rosetta Stone. The subject to be discussed will be how to lead companies “to do well by doing good”.
If you would like to be invited to attend the panel here locally drop me an email and we will get you on the list.
Hi Ted,
I so would have loved to have attended your panel today, but, alas, I am in Cambodia of all places on Spring Break visiting with two fellow Hoyas (who still don’t know that we lost to West Virginia in the Big East by the way)! I graduated from Georgetown SFS in 2006 and am now a graduate student at GW, working towards a degree in Public Health. I know what you’re thinking – why didn’t I decide to stay at G’town for grad school? Simply put, they don’t have an MPH program! But I digress…
I have read a lot about your professional career and some of the choices you have made in your life, and I have to say I’m very impressed! If it’s not too much of an inconvenience, I would absolutely love the chance to meet with you personally and discuss the trajectory your career has taken. I return to the States (and DC) on Sunday, March 21st and would be happy to meet at your convenience.
Please let me know if you wouldn’t mind indulging a fellow Hoya for an hour of your time. Thanks so much in advance.
Hoya Saxa!
