See the Real Thing

Hurt Locker was a powerful film. It was worthy of winning the Academy Award.

Here is a film about the real thing called “Occupation Dreamland”. It’s wonderful and powerful documentary. It is authentic, sad and moving. The real thing is equally as note worthy. Click here to watch this film!

A Good Offense is a Good Defense

Thanks Dan. It is always interesting to let facts get in the way of other’s opinions.

The goal of the game is to score more goals than the other guy.

I agree with this thesis about having a world class offense. A world class power play is a very good thing.

If we get average to good defense and goal tending we will be situated well. Read this one. Thank you…Go Caps.

Fire Your Unhappy Employees

I loved reading this article. I never looked at it this way.

I am a healer. I try to make everyone happy.

As I have grown up a bit I have come to realize that there are basically some folks that can’t be happy, they revel in their unhappiness.

This article posits that you need to just cut that cord, fire unhappy people and move on. That is an ingredient to make for happy institutions. I think I agree. I will send this writer a copy of my book “The Business of Happiness”. I bet it will be helpful for future articles.

Justin and His Quest

We hosted a very brave young man and his dad in our box the other night at the Capitals vs. Stars game.

His name is Justin and here is his story.

There isn’t much more to say but we should all embrace this young man and help him on his quest.
