Happy Birthday Twitter

Twitter is four years old. Fifty million Tweets per day. See this article.

Here are my favorites Tweets from a friend:

” I am up”

“Jumping into the shower”

” Juice and toast”

” Shirt and tie today”

“Stuck in traffic”

” Boring phone call”

“Meetings and more meetings”

” Working late”

” Pizza”

And on and on.

Thank you Twitter…I think. :-)

Paperback Dreams

Here is a great little film about your neighborhood and the importance of your local bookseller.

High ideas at low cost. A passion for books.

As I have done multiple local book signings for my book, The Business of Happiness, I have made sure to support local booksellers. They need our support.

Read. Mingle with your neighbors. Support your local bookseller. They deserve it.

Proud of Our Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff has been doing a great job in keeping our team working hard; being focused on goals; and playing terrific and productive hockey.

We have won our division and are up 33 points over our nearest division competitor with 10 games left to play.We lead the Eastern Conference by 16 points with 10 games left to play.

We lead the 8th place team in the Eastern Conference by 32 points. If the season ended today we would play Boston in the first round of the playoffs.

We lead Chicago by 9 points for most points in NHL although they have one game in hand.

We just completed a tough week road trip - four games in seven days - and we were successful and gained ground in the standings.

We now get to take a couple of days to heal up and get ready for the last sprint to the end of the season.

It was wonderful to see Alex Ovechkin back on the ice. It was great to see the depth we have created for the team settling in as injuries are starting to mount up and we won’t miss a beat.

We know the regular season has been quite successful for us. We are glad to be productive. We also know that the playoffs start an entirely new season and that it is infrequent that the team that wins the President’s Trophy wins the Stanley Cup. But at the same time, we can’t take our foot off the gas pedal. We need to play great hockey for the last ten games of the season. Whatever happens will happen. Wish us good fortune, good health and good luck. Rest up. Waste not want not. Go Caps!
