Blushing About the Gushing

Wow - Mr. Neil Cavuto on Fox Business News last night really liked reading my book.

He called it the “best book I have read this year and I have to read a lot of books because of this job.”

I was honored and touched. Thank you.

The reviews are starting to come in and here are seven of them on Amazon.com. If you have read the book and you have the time, you may want to add your customer review to the site as well. Thanks in advance.

Only Way To Go Is Down

Si.com ranks the Caps #1 in power rankings post Olympics. We have 20 games left to play.

I sure hope we don’t read any of our press clippings.

These last 20 games are crucial for us to position ourselves well for the playoffs and to stay healthy as well.

We play back to back games starting tonight in Buffalo. After that, we play 12 of 19 games at home to finish out the campaign. I would like us to keep a pace in home wins and prove to the league that Verizon is a tough place for opponents to play against us as we head into the playoffs.

I would also hope we can have home ice advantage in the playoffs deep into the playoffs. Go Caps!

Amtrak Acela Train has Wi-Fi!

And it rocks. It is clean, fast and easy to use.

Count me very impressed. The system went live yesterday and it is awesome.

Union Station is now a hot spot too.

No more Delta shuttles for me only Acela train to Philly and NYC. This is so great. No more slow modems only pure and fast Wi-Fi and free of charge to boot. Way to go Amtrak Connect!

Tell Us Something We Don’t Know

The Internet surpasses print and radio as a source of news.

Check this out in the NY Times online–no less.

People today look to their computers and their mobile devices for news in real time. They no longer depend on news papers or the radio.

In 5 years time a Twitter-like service will be the source of real time news. People publishing and pushing of news will be at the forefront. We live in amazing times.

A Human Touch

Thank you. A sensitive article regarding Jose Theodore.

Jose is a great team mate. He is also a great family man and a wonderful husband to his wife.

He is only human even though we see players as robots sometimes. Just a spec on a TV screen performing for our pleasure, being easily criticized or loved. They are real people with real human issues.

Thank you for publishing such a true to life piece. Such an honest look at a family tragedy and how they are responding and how they are giving back to our community.

Embrace this family. Read this article. Thank you again.

Washington Post on Bucket Lists

Thank you. Here is a nice little article regarding my book “The Business of Happiness”.

I have been on a press tour promoting the book and I apologize if the book isn’t available at your local book stores, as it seems to sell out fast. May I recommend that you order it either from Barnesandnoble.com, or Amazon.com. They are always in stock. Thanks again.
