I was asked recently by a media member “Ted where are you spending your time these days?
Well here you go:
I am still very involved with Revolution Money now that it is a part of American Express Company. I am enjoying working with American Express and its CEO as to its digital platform expansion plans.
I remain Chairman of Clearspring Technologies, operators of the AddThis Network. The platform and reach here continues to boom almost hitting 700 million monthly unique visitors around the world.
I also spend quality time at Snagfilms and IndieWIRE. I am majority owner of these enterprises and both business units are growing fast and will soon be profitable.
I am on a constant book tour for “The Business of Happiness”. I do interviews and book signing just about every week.
We finished work on a new film which I will tell everyone about quite soon. It is a heartwarming documentary.
I am active and on the board of directors of several private companies including Groupon, Mediabank, Mevio, and Bridgevine.
I serve on a few public company boards including Rosetta Stone .
I serve on the board of directors of Georgetown University.
I am day to day involved with the Washington Capitals and Washington Mystics, as majority owner.
I am working hard on final negotiations regarding the Washington Wizards and Verizon Center.
I have full days. I try to answer all of my email daily and I blog every day as well and try to keep up with folks on Facebook.
And I get to spend quality time with my family.
Mr. Leonsis, I a business student at Georgetown, I see a lot of synergies amongst the companies you work with. How much time to do you spend making cross partnerships so multiple companies can grow together?
Thanks
I keep remembering that you said you are able to ignore the noise and focus on the signal, but I can’t imagine getting half of what you do accomplished. You are amazing Ted, keep it up!
With all that you have going on…. I’m surprised there is any time left for fan email, but obviously you do that as well (probably at the expense of family time!). Too bad that not all who send you emails are grateful for that sacrifice.
Come on play-offs… LETS GO CAPS!

I just finished reading your book and I can honestly tell you that it has given me a new outlook on success. I am sure I will refer back to it on numerous occasions. I too would be interested in having my copy signed.
Teddy, And your enjoying every minute!! God Bless You!
Hey Ted just wanted to say rather upset with tonights coverage on VS. Not anything you can do . They finally had a good view of Bruce for the 1st period.Made me want to look at that angle all night and to forget the game.BUT NOOO they had to change cameras to one at a different angle.
LMAO spoilsports. I mean if they wearing it they want to be seen sheesh.
Does anyone know if Ted’s book signing schedule is available anywhere? I would love to get my copy signed. Every time I hear about a signing, it is when I’m reading the newspaper the day after.
I admire your drive, energy and devotion to your family and causes. Thank you for sharing your life with us and being a motivating force.
