The Best Review of the iPad

Here is Jason Calacanis on the iPad. Very well done and insightful. Click here to see for yourself.

I have ordered an iPad, mostly to play with or travel with it. I don’t use my iPhone as a phone but as a smallish laptop netbook like device already. I am looking forward to using the large touch screen keyboard for my email and blog postings, too.

I can see myself leaving an iPad laying around the house for quick and convenient use and connectivity and in my bathroom or even taking it on the road in place of my laptop. time will tell if this feels right.

I also hope to see if I can use it as Kindle like device as well.

I am excited to get it and may do an out of box experience blog post once it arrives.

  1. Well I love my touch, and I am looking forward to go and see one. My only question is word and excel apps, if yes I will buy one. Keep us up to date with your opions.

  2. As you know, don’t expect to view NHL sites with it. It doesn’t support Flash, so you’ll have to go to a Real Computer to view these “non-standard” yet culturally pervasive sites. Until Apple swallows its pride and supports Flash, I’ll not touch one.

  3. The iPad is ‘the’ media consumption device from my early experience. Reading, watching, etc. It all just works for a great experience. Exciting possibilities. Do post your impressions once you get it.

  4. TMI Ted! Using the ipad in the bathroom! Im sure you will not be the only one doing that.
