Here are details on a wonderful local event in celebration of our dearly departed friend Joe Casella.
We all miss Joe terribly, but this event will be a fun time for all. And one that celebrates what he and his family stand for “neighbors, community, fitness and joy”.

Joe was a remarkable person and I miss him a lot. Our sons went to pre-school and played hockey together so we got to know each other well and our wives our good friends. Thank you Mr. Leonsis for your support and I encourage everyone to do as you say and “check it out and get involved.”

This year all proceeds will benefit the Cassella Children’s Education Trust Fund and The Miracle League. Joe always found ways to help the youth, whether it was by hosting a 5K to raising funds for a child in need or mentoring a high school student. Now it’s our turn to give back to his children and one of his favorite charities.
