I don’t believe in curses. Read this article. Yuck.
I believe in hard work, in staying with it, and in incremental improvement until you get it right.
The assumption of a curse also demeans the level of competition you play against.
Belief in curses is an easy way out and an easy justification for losing.
I also don’t appreciate headlines like this one “A Cursed Franchise? Obviously.”
Not cool. Not cool at all. That is loser talk and I don’t let losers in my life. You shouldn’t either.
This is a great story about our good friend, business partner, and fellow owner of our sports teams Jack Davis.
Jack does the right thing the right way.
We are proud of you Jack! Check out this wonderful article.
C-SPAN conducted a long interview with me last month and it ran last night.
I thought it was an honor to be interviewed by C-SPAN’s founder and CEO Brian Lamb.
I also thank them so much for positively promoting my book “The Business of Happiness.” You can buy the book here from Amazon.com.
C-SPAN is a wonderful media outlet. Here is their web site and some more info on the interview. Thank you so much.
Thank goodness for “The Impossible Project!”

Betty White killed it. Click here for her monologue on SNL.
Some of what she says is genius about Facebook.
WWBWD - What Would Betty White Do?!
I feel like I don’t use Facebook the right way and for that I feel old and bad.
She has me thinking…
By the way, check out the Betty White muffin skit. It’s a new classic like the Schwetty Balls skit with Alec Baldwin several years ago.
Here is a new blog on the World Championships for those of you who are interested. Click here. Well done SBNation! Follow your favorite teams, countries and players here.
I was walking around the Verizon Center with Dick Patrick today and I asked one of the senior executives at the building about the Mystics attendance banners. And after some discussion we decided to take them down.
The only banners we should display revolve around winning a division or conference or league championship.
So to all of the folks who have emailed me your thoughts over the years about the attendance banners– as a heads up know they are no longer up in the rafters.
I hope we can put up some real championship banners based on team performance soon.
If you are unhappy about this change yell at me and only me.
Thanks…Go Mystics.
I also walked in and watched some of the Mystics practice today at the Verizon Center. The coach was drilling and running the team and prospects pretty hard which was great to see.
I hope to see you at some games here this summer.
