9:30 Club 30th Birthday

What a fun night and congratulations to the 9:30 Club for 30 years of great local entertainment.

Henry Rollins was there.

Ted Leo rocked.

Clutch wailed. They were loud and proud.

Dave Grohl surprised folks with an appearance and did Bad Brains songs. We met him and he is a really great guy and nice person.

And Trouble Funk closed it out!

We all had a great time. Thanks Seth Hurwitz who played drums with the Flesh Tones and then on “Play that Funky Music White Boy” with Trouble Funk.

Trouble Funk — GoGo music. Wow!!! Set that way back machine on stun!

Rock on.

  1. Ted!

    Ted Leo DID rock.:)

It was an amazing night- I had so much fun seeing the parade of bands I admire, including my husband’s, Clutch. Thanks for the kind words, I know the boys will appreciate them. 9:30 is such a truly special place, it was stellar to have a minute to pay homage. All best! Lindsay
