Click here at 1:00 pm to tune in to our initial press conference regarding the Washington Wizards, Verizon Center and our future plans. Thank you NBA.com and WashingtonWizards.com.
In an ironic twist of fate, I did the first interactive content deal with the NBA back at AOL in 1994. Does anyone remember AOL Keyword: NBA?
My head is spinning and I am quite nervous and excited for today’s events.
Teddy, A lot of thought, hard work, and a little bit of luck. God Bless. Congratulations!
Hey Ted, Congrats on the Wizards! I just hope that since basketball and hockey play around the same time, focus will not be taken off the Caps. We had a tough loss in the playoffs, but getting better every year. The caps play great together as they are so hopefully only minimal (if any) changes will be made to the roster for as long as possible. As for the Wizards I know you can turn them around as well.
Good luck,
Chris P
You’re not really going to be cutting my lawn but I appreciate the sentiment. As far as the Wizards are concerned, give fans the belief that the team has a chance to win every game, just as we have with the Capitals, and we will force you to add more premium seating for season ticket holders. Buying a winner simply doesn’t work and fans know that. We will be patient so long as the process is one step forward as opposed to two steps forward and three steps backward. It seems from your presser we have all learned from experience. Oh, and I don’t care for ketchup. I am more of a Tzatziki person. What are the odds of including it as a condiment?
That’s a great aquisition Ted. Hopefully the Caps will follow the Bears tradition and become a mega-star winning franchise with you at the helm. Cheers Ted, and good luck.
PS. I was 14 when I first typed in AOL.

Congrats Ted, I know you will bring the Wizards to new heights. The Wizzard received a great new owner, first round draft pick this year, and a great back office to turn the team around.
Best,
Mike
Congratulations sir, looking forward to some great years of stewardship over one of the best community based sports franchises in the world. Cheers!!!!
Bring back the BULLETS!!!! I and many others stopped watching the Wizards after the name change; its not the same. The Bullets are a Washington icon.
