Talented and tough and ready to play. A great addition to our team. A big wing. One of the toughest players in the NHL. A player with upside.
To land DJ King we had to trade a young prospect who we liked a lot, and who we chose in the 7th round of the draft. We believe we got great value for this pick and that DJ will add an edge to our team. He is entering his prime. He is a player who will get minutes and he can be nasty when needed.
I am very happy with this addition to our team. We just got bigger and grittier and tougher.
And I agree we really need a win. We need to stop the slide and get back to our winning ways. Down the stretch we come. We expect to make the playoffs but we have to earn it — no one will give it to us. Clichés I know, but quite true. Come on out this Sunday to the game. You will enjoy yourself.

But if we had 50,000 tickets to sell, I bet we could sell them to Caps fans. Our fan base now is that big and is that interested in this game! Thank you Caps fans. We look forward to seeing you in Pittsburgh. We have come a long way but we still have work to do.
