Do you have a great voice? Do you know your basketball? If you have that combination of talent and knowledge, then perhaps you should consider auditioning to become the Wizards next public address announcer. Tryouts will be Monday, Sept. 13, at 6p at Verizon Center. If you are interested, or know anyone who might be interested, sign-up here: http://www.nba.com/wizards/news/pa_application_form.html
Best of luck.
I certainly would like to try out for the PA position, but the link doesn’t seem to work and I couldn’t find anything on the Wizards’ or the NBA.com sites. I’ll show up to the arena Monday night, just in case.
I am also a big John Wall fan. I’m from a
small town called Enfield, N.C. It’s about
50 miles from John Wall’s hometown, Raleigh. Still trying to figure out how Roy
Williams and UNC let him go to Kentucky:)

This is a really cool opportunity and I will put it out on my sites as well as tryout myself. On second thought I will stick with writing, but I will post about it!
Ted, hello, would you allow us to post your Wizards PA Tryouts on our blog and group pages? We have a great many announcers who might like the opportunity to try out…Thanks for your consideration
