A Nice One on Aol About Local Hockey

Summer Interns
Some have great jobs; some have interesting jobs; and some have boring jobs.
And then there was this job.
“OK - watch these movies and count for us how many f-bombs were spoken in the screenplay. Then make a chart to outline which films have the most f-bombs, OK?”
Do they offer course credit for this internship? 
I think Scarface should be on the list, by the way.
Perhaps the greatest line of dialogue in film history is, ”You F-ing F-ing F.”
A screenplay writer actually wrote that line. And Al Pacino delivered it perfectly.
Groupon to Russia and Japan
Forbes called Groupon “The Fastest Growing Company Ever” last week.
I chuckled at the hyperbole. I am on the board of this company.
But they may be right.

What a fun thrill ride; creating jobs for people; saving consumers money; helping local merchants with their business in an accountable marketing program; and driving revenue growth. This is a true double bottom line business and a true scalable wonderful enterprise.
I am very proud of this team of people and glad to help in what little way that I can.

Is it a computer? A TV? A stereo? A laptop? A dessert topping?
I think this is what we meant when we said “convergence.”
Someone should go find the old AOL TV videos. I think they had a lot of relevance and foresight into what this new mashed up world could look like. I am serious.
George Mason for Wizards Training Camp
Yes - the Washington Wizards will hold their pre-season training camp at George Mason University here in Northern Virginia.
We will open some of the practices to our fans and the media. Stay tuned for details.
We want to support our local fan base.
We want to make life easier for the media that follows the team and bloggers, too.
We want to support the George Mason basketball program and the Patriot Center which we manage for the University.
We want to try new things and to inject change into the organization. We want to make travel more convenient for everyone who works for the team.
I think this is a good move on our part. I hope to see you at some practices.
