We Want Your Vote

Remember our list of 101 Signs of Visible Change that we posted in early October? I have received a ton of emails and comments concerning that list, so we decided it would be interesting to see what changes fans like the most. After narrowing the list to 30 in order to simply the voting process and to select changes that would impact the most fans, we have created a fun, online way for you to provide your feedback. So go ahead and cast your vote from your favorite voting location:

Capitals

Wizards

Mystics

Verizon Center

We will tabulate the results, and I will follow-up with a video highlighting the changes our fans liked most as well as sharing my favorites. Vote now and enjoy.

May I Ask You All…

To buy a ticket and come to the Wizards game tonight?

It is a Friday night – date night. I will be there with my wife on a double date with friends.

Why don’t you all do the same?

Come see our team and enjoy downtown DC. See for yourself a young team that is rebuilding and working hard. Watch the team grow up right before your very eyes. Good seats are still available.

We need the support. We are working hard to make a great franchise. We can use some help here. :-)

Thank you. Is this request too forward? You tell me.

As Noted – Chemistry is Good

We have a very strong locker room. The players in Washington respect each other; have a lot of fun; show grit and character; protect each other; and are quite supportive of one another.

I have learned that good team chemistry is vital to success. Talent is important but having good dynamics and selflessness is also a key deliverable for our team and a fan base.

Matt Hendricks was a super addition to our team this off season. Not many people noticed. I am happy to see this article and am grateful that a light is being shined on Matt.

He is a terrific hard-nosed player. He gets along with all of his teammates. He is hyper-active on the ice and strong with the puck. He plays strong D in all situations; is tough as nails; and is a great guy in the room. And he is chipping in in so many little ways that make a big difference. His motor is always on.

These are the free agent signings I like our team to make.

Hungry players and great teammates only focused on team success. Thank you.

Get ready for a tough game on Saturday against the Flyers – a game where a player like Matt Hendricks thrives. Go Caps!
