Ticketmaster

Today we turned over the operation of our Ticketmaster Washington, D.C., and Baltimore franchise to Ticketmaster. To read the full press release please click here. The agreement was set to expire in a few months, and Ticketmaster made it clear that it wanted to reclaim and operate this franchise, which was the last franchise in the U.S. Fans and customers in the Greater D.C. metropolitan area are assured the same great service, and we’ve worked diligently with Ticketmaster to ensure a seamless transition.

We appreciate the dedication and professionalism displayed by those who represented this Ticketmaster franchise throughout the years. The Baltimore-Washington group was one of the most successful in the country, and that was a direct reflection on the men and women who represented the franchise. Thank you for being so understanding and respectful of customer and client needs.

Back Home Tonight

Back to the friendly confines of Verizon Center for the Wizards. We play quite well at home. We will have to as we play a very deep and talented Denver team this evening.

Be careful about traffic and other considerations coming to the game this evening as the State of the Union Address will no doubt wreak some havoc with traffic patterns. I would try to get to the game a bit early.

We are a very competent and professional team at home with an above 500 record and some quality wins over some good teams.

On the road we have yet to win – ZERO for 21. Mind-boggling. Another loss last night against the New York Knicks at MSG.

The least amount of wins for a team qualifying for a playoff spot as of today in the East is 5 road wins. Had we a 5-16 road record instead of a 0-21 road record, we would be feeling quite good about ourselves right now.

We are doing everything we can to improve our psyche and road record.

But for now we must focus on tonight. At home.

See you all at the game. Thank you.
