So you produced the doc film “Nanking,” I see. Thank you for bringing this story to life in such an interesting manner. I watched this several weeks ago. To hear the survivors speak about what they witnessed and what they endured was absolutely heartbreaking. I was just bawling while listening to them tell their story. Some of the Japanese soldiers showed no remorse when talking about their actions. One even had a glimmer in his eyes as though having a fond memory.
Now that director Zhang Yimou is making a dramatic film about the Nanking Massacre starring Christian Bale, many more people will be informed about this terrible event in Chinese history. And then many will watch your documentary to learn more.
