  1. Mr.Leonsis,
This has nothing to do with the your post but about the wizards. Since we have changed the name to Wizards, I have seen nothing but soft players who dont know defense and stand around way too much on the court. Our latest one just happens to Andray BLatche. We are paying this guy a lot of money he is lazy, out of shape and just doesnt seem to care. He is now 26 and has been in the league for a while, He still doesnt understand what it takes to be great and I can just see that from his effort night in and night out.

Even during the “Glory Years” with Gil and the gang, we were soft with only Butler and maybe two others who played who tough and physical.

What I am trying to get as that we have a very soft name in “Wizards”, you just dont think of toughness when you hear about the team “Wizards”. Like If i was a free agent I would not want to go play for no wizards. I know that it might not have any connection with the name and team but we might as well start with one cause NO ONE fears the wizards.

I understand Abe Polin’s thing with the name change but it is your team now. A name change back to the Bullets or maybe something tougher can start a culture change around here. I would be much more prouf to call myself a Bullets fan than the wizards. In fact I am embarrassed sometimes to say I root for a team called the Wizards….

  2. Wow. I’m definitely glad I watched, but films/documentaries like this (if well done) always leave you with an empty feeling that’s tough to swallow. Also, it evokes some serious mixed feelings about Bale’s acceptance speech at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Bale to Dicky: “Thank you for living the life, and thank you for letting me play you.” Thank you for living the life? Weird choice of words given the sad train wreck of Dicky’s existence for a huge part of his life.

Sat courtside for your Wizzies this evening, Mr. Leonsis. I was very encouraged by some things I saw, and you should know that many people support the direction of the franchise even though the immediate results can be a less than desirable at times.
