Every one of our core “young guns” this season – Ovechkin, Semin, Green and Backstrom – has missed a bunch of games this season due to injury.
Add Poti, Fehr, Arnott and Varlamov to the mix, too.
Life goes on.
We play a game on Tuesday in Philadelphia.
Then Friday night and Saturday night, too. No one feels sorry for you so we can’t feel sorry for ourselves.
One more win to clinch a playoff spot then sprint through the last games of the season and hope we heal up in time for the playoffs across the board.

Yi made some big plays at the end. We win. The sun is out. It’s a beautiful day.
We are missing Nick Young, Andray Blatche, Rashard Lewis and Josh Howard from the lineup. That is $37 million or so in payroll on the sidelines and 60 points or so in offense per game.
