Alex Ovechkin lives large and has fun. So does Nicklas Backstrom.

The team will learn to win and play together over time. We are young and up and coming.
The young players will carry the load.
We will have a very good back court.
Andray Blatche would be focused and play like a budding star. JaVale McGee would start to figure out how to play down low and use his gifts to rebound, block shots and run the floor.
Even though we are missing several players of our own, the team is gelling and has confidence and believes in one another. We are developing an identity of a young and hungry team and one that works hard and hits the boards and can hit big shots when needed.
A nice little run. It is fun to see. Enjoy it. We have upside. We will continue to improve over time. Go Wizards go!

Thank you to the Washington Post for this wonderful article about hope and perseverance.
We are happy to offer Othyus a chance to show his skills and talents in the NBA as a part of our rebuild.
The D league works in that it offers players a chance to play hard in a professional setting; be scouted; and get a chance to “stick” after a call up.
Othyus Jeffers is making a statement that he belongs in the league and is a tough, hard nosed competitor.
He deserves our respect. I am happy for him.
I am proud of him and his efforts on behalf of his teammates and our franchise.
