A 9 Plus Rating at Peak

Think  Piers Morgan times 10. Locally.

Amazing; thank you; we can’t be more grateful and humble and appreciative.

You are the best!

Read this piece for visible signs of love and respect. Thank you.

I have received so many emails about your support–and I know chanting ” WE ARE LOUDER”  will blow the roof off on Saturday at Verizon Center. I know you are –and I can’t wait as that seems to be what is a -coming!

“WE ARE LOUDER.”

I bet they will hear that a long way away.

Be Nice. Thank you; Go Caps.

Straight Forward

A very straight forward and honest set of  discussion points by Ernie Grunfeld here; click  here to read  his take on the past season and what to expect on the go forward. We are in synch. Patience is a virtue; eat your spinach and carrots; get plenty of  sleep–drink lots of water; no short cuts. Anything worth doing is worth doing well; Rome wasn’t built in a day–I like the color red– and on and on!

Playing With Trove

The Washington Post launched  a  news gathering  service called Trove. It is social and adaptive and gets wise with your click streams.

It really rocks.

It is intuitive and easy to use and  gets smarter the more you use it– it allows you to create your own  channels; and create your home pages.

WTED–  my personal news network–all news–all the time.

Go get it and play with it. I am impressed.

History Lesson

Two years ago– the NY Rangers were up on us– 3 games to 1. We rallied  and beat them in game 7 to win the series.

Last season, we were up 3 games to 1 over Montreal; they rallied to beat us in game 7.

We won an important  game last night. That is all; it was fun; thrilling and I am  happy  that we didn’t quit and we battled and we silenced a very loud and proud crowd  at MSG. This is a meaningful  article here on sports–metro areas; and  collective psyches.

But– we havent won the series. We have lots of work left to do–we are only up in the series 3 games to 1; anything can still happen; we must learn from history. Be humble. Be  respectful. Don’t celebrate. Work hard. Stay focused.

I have a request. Of you all.

Let us show everyone how loud and creative we can be as a fan base on Saturday.

The MSG crowd were  a part of the game last night– they were in to it; but I know our building can be the LOUDEST in the league; and we are the  most creative  fan base– so have some fun; create some theatre; be loud and be proud. Act as 1; be unified.

BUT– be nice– I have been treated with respect by the NY Rangers as have our partners and our fan base that visit; and we have more and more  fans ;dressed in red– going  to road games.

Embrace this– extend it–  help us to help you!

Thank you. Go Caps!

Thomas Jefferson is Credited

Thomas Jefferson is credited with the concept of transparency .

If you could walk down by the  city square–and listen or watch in on what your officials  were doing and saying ; and feel comfortable; then all was ok.

We have argued about transparency and about secrecy since.

We are now a transparent nation; everywhere there are cameras;  and all video is available for a price. Everyone carries a camera in their phone– a camera and a video camera. All establishments have cameras running. You are being watched.

Just about every thing you do is caught on camera. We live in a fish bowl. Get used to it.

A celeb was arrested– a  tattoo  parlor sells this video–it goes main stream; it is in the algorithm for all time now. From TMZ to Youtube to my local 1100 pm news cast last night to emails to me this morning. Yikes; be aware– be paranoid; be good.
