Mightybell – An App for Doers

As noted in my book, “The Business of Happiness”; I make lists. I check the things to do off the list. I make progress – I take action – I lean in. I break things to do into small incremental steps. I go forward.

I am 82 out of 101 things to do in life! I believe in this stuff….

Here is a cool new web site and app to help you do your own list. Take your first steps – make methodology out of chaos and being random; a productivity aid – a happiness finder. A things to do now maker. A how to aid in organizing activity.

Very well done.

I wish I had created this one. Check it out. I bet this one becomes a hit.

Spirit of America

We have a great, free event at Verizon Center Sept. 9 and 10. Spirit of America is a patriotic show that tells the history of our nation through the eyes of the American soldier. It features performances by more than 300 active-duty soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own.” The show celebrates the spirit, strength and history of the nation with a combination of music, historical narration and live-action dramatization. Spirit of America is the true story of men and women who have left friends and families behind to protect and defend our country. More information here.

A Good Ongoing Series

We do have a core of young players that we started the rebuild around; ” the Young Guns” and we have added to it with even younger players of late – and then added to it with vets this off season.

This is all a part of a narrative of trying to find the goldilocks phenomenon; “Yum … just right”.

But clearly our highest paid players – Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom and Green; are the straws that stir the drink.

Health plays a big role in their productivity.

I also think special teams play is key to our team’s productivity in the playoffs; and to the individual stats during the year for this core group.

Great power play during the regular season – and the playoffs – the better we will do as a team.

Good health helps a lot too!

Of love – of millions gathered together – regime change. Of DC – in DC at the Mall – all together – with one aim. Fix America.

Now – gridlock.
