A Long Preseason is Winding Down
Last night was fun, no one got hurt and the fans got to see a win in a shootout.
It was also fun to see all five new faces for us this season be on the ice at the same time.
And the major core players delivered for us in a win.
We are all working out the kinks in our delivery and developing trust and chemistry is paramount for us as a team.
I spoke to all of the Verizon Center ushers and security staff yesterday before the game started. They are all excited to welcome you all back to the Verizon Center starting next Saturday. It is wonderful to see all of our staffs getting ready for the new season, too.
One more game on Sunday and preseason is over. Camp has one more week to aid in our development and then off we go starting Saturday, October 8th. Thank you. Go Caps!
