Importance of the Power Play
As noted a lot and many times in the past. I know I have blogged about this subject many times over the last three years.
If our power play is humming, we are a very good team. Specialty teams are difference makers in tough games and big situations.
We now throw many different looks on our power play onto the ice.
We move players around to different spots on the ice.
We can have lots of skill to play differing positions. We want to be hard to figure out.
I am pleased with our power play. Our fans are as well and so many players get ice time now on the power play. It seems crisper and more energetic.
Kudos to the staff for innovating and implementing these changes. And to the players for executing so well this season only seven games in.
Looking forward to a late night as the game starts at close to 10:00 pm EST. Go Caps!
