We have been working hard to drive increased connectivity at our arena for fans.
We have greatly increased capacity of WIFI bandwidth.
We have worked with ATT and they have made significant enhancements to their infrastructure - see this important news release here; this is all goodness.
Stay tuned for more announcements from more partners; my goal is seamless and always on connectivity for all; at all events. This is a huge technical challenge but we are working it hard to improve to serve you better.
Thank you.

In Philly.
The first meeting this year.
I always enjoy the environment and the fans in Philly. The last time I attended a game there last season I sat in the stands next to a Flyers fan who was wearing an orange Snuggie! Everyone was hospitable and fun.
See this article on NHL.com, a good overview of the two teams. Go Caps! Thanks.
They are coming to DC and Verizon Center.
Dave Grohl – our own home town big time rock star returns.
Here is a review of their new music.
Here is info on the concert. Click here. See you all then and there. I have always liked and admired this band and Dave.
What a week!
On Monday – I was at University of Maryland again, talking to students and small business execs about innovation and startup businesses. For a nonprofit.
On Tuesday, I was the keynote speaker at the Center for Non Profit Advancement.
Today – I hosted at Verizon Center and spoke to the Philanthropist to Philanthropist Luncheon Series. A group of about 50 nonprofit and foundation heads attended.
Tonight – there is a fund raiser for College Success Foundation in Northern Virginia.
Tomorrow – Thursday – Don Graham and I are at the Newseum to speak out for students in the District who need help and counsel and scholarship for their college careers. Thanks to DC College Success Foundation.
And on Saturday – I lead the Audi Best Buddies Challenge – see link here for details. I will be walking as will my family for this great cause that I have been associated with for 15 years.
6 days. 6 events. 6 great causes! Too much ain’t enough!
We played well last night. We scored again on a power play – our penalty kill played well too.
Our goalie pitched a shut out of a weary opponent.
3 to 0. 5 wins in a row. First time in our history. Just an interesting foot note for a media story some day in the future.
It is just 2 points; we have 10 now in ten days of the season.
We are off to a good start.
We next face the Flyers – who are also off to a great start – in Philly; and then host the other undefeated team in the NHL; the Detroit Red Wings at home on Saturday.
A tough two game stretch. Enjoy the ride; have fun at the games. Thank you. Go Caps!
Best community news; Hockey matters in our town. Skating is cool.
