We must garner points while playing at home. I think we have one of the best if not the best winning records on home ice in the Eastern Conference. We have won 20 games at home to date. We are Top 5 in the entire league in home wins, too. Click here.
Last night’s win helps but will be nullified if we lose tonight in Toronto. We must find ways to win on the road. Tonight is one of those pivotal 4 point nights.
Thank you for turning out and being loud and supportive last night. Our team really does thrive and responds so well to your passion and energy at home.
Ted,
I agree that we are at a crucial point in the season, but I am distressed at the commentators stating that the Caps are/would even consider trading Semin….if that were to happen, I would lose all faith in this team and their belief that we can win. I would be hard pressed to renew my season tickets if that were to happen…it would be like the management has given up…and I certainly haven’t. I believe that this team has the talent and potential – all we need is a good coach who can get them there. Hunter was a great player but he’s not an NHL caliber coach.
Thanks and Let’s Go Caps!
Joan
I’d rather see them struggle now than in April or May. These challenges will make them tougher for the post-season. Patience, persistence, even keel. Rock the Red!
