Mardi Gras and a Living Party

New Orleans. It rocks. Music is central to its core – to what it is all about.

Here is a great film – “New Orleans. A Living Museum of Music”.

I have been to Mardi Gras. A once in a life time experience.

Watch this one – celebrate a great city that is still a rebuilding; but that has soul. I am proud of SnagFilms and its diverse library.

“The Nature Of Things: Everyday Einstein”

A smart film; filled with intelligence and grace.

About Albert Einstein, who passed in 1955 but whose impact is felt today – in our thinking; in our technology and in the way we live our lives.

He had a pretty good year – he thought through 3 theorems that altered the way we look at the universe – all while working at the Patent office.

Truly a historic figure – the best film you can watch on his life and times – right here.

A man of style and substance

Nat King Cole.

I only knew of Nat King Cole because I would hear my dad singing “Mona Lisa – Mona Lisa” to my mom – over dinner – when I was quite young.

My father would buy and play Nat King Cole records on weekends at our home. I would tease him because he liked Nat King Cole and Perry Como and Frank Sinatra – while I liked the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

When I found this documentary on SnagFilms; I watched it – I learned a lot – but it also called up for me many positive and warm memories of my mom and dad.

Nat King Cole had class and a great voice.

Click here to hear him sing; and learn about his life and times. I am proud of SnagFilms for having a higher calling; finding films that matter – that educate and that can provoke very positive memories.
