Only in New York

Some of you will remember that I co-invented a board game when I was a younger man called “Only in New York.”

When I read this story about the NY Post – their “Dewey defeats Truman” story line, I just said – “only in New York.” Can you imagine the Washington Post doing something like this? I certainly can’t.

Oh well. Another day – another set of odd pixels to contemplate. Go Caps!

Don’t Listen to Anyone; Least of All Me

Here is a story from Inc. Magazine about my afternoon with a founder of a start-up – one that grew to become a company that I use and I truly admire.

Kudos to Kickstarter and the wonderful community of supporters they have built. I have supported filmmakers online in this manner. I wish I had blown off the editor in this meeting and just focused on the founder who had passion and focus and a true understanding of the community he was building.

Way to go Perry— I am proud of you! You have created something as a platform that is important and wonderful.

NOT April Fool’s Day

It is April 2, and this blog post is circulating around the net today via retweets and alerts and repostings and embeds. Note – it is not April Fools’ Day anymore. And this story is in pixels and captured in the algorithm forever.

This blog post has no truth in it - it is a joke and an April Fool’s day prank. I wanted to go on record to say my quotes were fabricated. I did NOT respond nor was I contacted in any way about this story. I did not participate in any way in this blog post and prank.

Further, there is no Wizards jersey designed with this sponsor on it. This is all photoshoped. The blog was done I am sure in fun and without malice – but it is important for me and for us to distance ourselves from its content .And to set the record straight. Thank you.
