Living in our nation’s capital, I am constantly reminded and humbled by how lucky I am to live in the United States. With at least one monument in view nearly everywhere you are in DC, history is a living presence, and national pride is a consistently re-awakened emotion. But anywhere in America can summon up our patriotism and respect - and remind us that we are constantly challenged to live up to the founders’ broad vision for our nation. Check out these three very unique documentaries over the holiday weekend and journey to all corners of our amazing country…via paragliding or on a two lane road. Enjoy. Celebrate. Happy Independence Day America!

Happiness
Thursday, January 28th, 2010When you read this article, you will understand why my new book, The Business of Happiness, matters.
There is a lot of negative value out there created by some of these bankers.
Greed kills.
Read this article. Buy my book. All dollars generated from the sale of my book will go to charities here in DC.
Money Can’t Buy Happiness
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009New York City is ranked last in happiness. NYC is all about the Benjamins; all about “Cash is King”; and when the world changed, people became unhappy and angry. Money can’t buy happiness. This is so true.

My book The Business of Happiness ships in February. If you agree with this survey and article, I think you will like reading my book.
Our Number 1 Fan
Sunday, November 8th, 2009I so enjoyed meeting our number 1 fan last night — such a brave young kid — and a gifted hockey player to boot. His parents are such warm and supportive and wonderful folks; all of our partners loved hanging out with them during the game in the owners box.
Feel blessed every day — enjoy your life — this young man is an inspiration to us all; Go Caps. Rocking the hawk! Click here to see the video.
Homeless Karaoke
Saturday, November 7th, 2009Sing my bothers — sing it loud.
A beautiful film — humanizing us all. Give us 8 minutes of your time — we will take you far away — you will experience a different and new world, end homelessness — feed the poor. In our own hometown.
Watch this beautiful short film; it will brighten your day — and humanize our brothers and sisters a bit less fortunate than ourselves at this particular time.
Farther Than The Eye Can See
Friday, November 6th, 2009Here is a great film — an inspirational film — a film about over coming great odds — to scale the highest summits.
I have met Erik — he was a key note speaker at an AOL all hands meeting; he is an amazing person — an amazing athlete.
Check this out — if he can do this — you can do anything you set your mind on. Go for it! Watch this film now — snag it and embed it — share it with your friends.
Something On Which We Can Agree!
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009Kudos to President Sarkozy.
We need to stimulate our people’s happiness, contentment and self-actualization. Our Government is still too focused on “money for nothing”. Quality of life; hopes and dreams; and purpose are also needed to become balanced and happier as a nation and as a people.
We do need a call to arms for a better life. It isn’t just about money! Money doesn’t buy happiness. Take the poll within.
