MLK Memorial

have seen it. It is a very moving experience. The Memorial is quite impressive and takes it’s place along the Mall as a “must see” area.

The mall played such a central role in MLK’s narrative and this is truly a fitting tribute to a great man.

Here is a powerful film- “Man of Peace In Time Of War” that shows MLK’s life and times! On SnagFilms.com. Watch, learn and pay tribute. Go see this wonderful Memorial. Thank you.

Earl W. Stafford, Hero

Earl W. Stafford is a real life hero. Read this account of his exploits on United Airlines Flight 223 this past Saturday in the Washington Post.

Earl is a noted local philanthropist; an active member of Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP); and – by luck – will be in attendance at the Capitals game in our owner’s box tomorrow night.

His fast action saved lives and averted a catastrophe. Thank goodness for Earl.

Capitals’ Commercial Director Saves Lives!

Did you know that Hollywood film director Doug Liman directed the famous Washington Capitals television commercials back in the year 2000? He did them under the watchful eyes of our ad agency at the time, Hill Holiday. He was a young artist and director and we really believed in his vision and his talent. I loved his film Swingers back in the day. Money.

He then went on to big time fame directing The Bourne Identity and Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Well now he is a hero as well. Click here to read this article about his heroics in saving some people from drowning in the Hudson River.
