“The Nature Of Things: Everyday Einstein”

A smart film; filled with intelligence and grace.

About Albert Einstein, who passed in 1955 but whose impact is felt today – in our thinking; in our technology and in the way we live our lives.

He had a pretty good year – he thought through 3 theorems that altered the way we look at the universe – all while working at the Patent office.

Truly a historic figure – the best film you can watch on his life and times – right here.

America’s Rabbi

I read this blog post – and found it to be very thought provoking and very timely.

I must say that I agree with this point of view. This is really well written.

Most of us feel we over celebrate some people and under recognize other folks; such as our men and women in the Military. We revel in the ups and downs of celebrities – and when a famous person dies – the coverage is spectacular.

I had no idea – as the writer outlines – how many men and woman we have lost of late in our actions overseas. Click here for details.

To recognize and show honor and thanks is one the key reasons we put the spot light on our brave and sometimes injured men and woman who have served us so well in the Military at Caps, Wizards and Mystics games. It is a tiny gesture, but it is authentic.

I know we can do even more. They are real life heroes – as are our police and fire fighters. And teachers.

Thank you to the Rabbi for encapsulating these ideas and thoughts so well.
