A loving approach.
Stead fast.
Involved but not meddlesome.
Text book; and authentic and true.

We made a little bit of history — the first President to attend a WNBA game — and the Mystics performed well with a big win. We are now 15 and 10.
I was fortunate to sit next to the President and his daughter for the first half our the floor seats.
We had a great time; he was in attendance with his daughter and he enjoyed the game as a dad. He was very sweet; very into the game and very supportive of our teams.
We had a nice chat about a bunch of stuff — but mostly about sports — DC; and technology — he is a huge web services consumer — I was very impressed with his knowledge of our industry.
That was a thrill – and at game’s end — he actually gave me a hug; how cool and how sweet is that? Thank you Mr. President; that was a real treat for our fans and for me!
Check out this Advertising Age article. I was using the term social media to Proctor and Gamble back in 1998. Thanks for remembering the good old days. A dozen years ago. We were cool but who ever remembers the past?
Thank you. The response has been positive and my book “The Business of Happiness” will be available on the Kindle.

Great. Way better. Far better. Wonderful. Cool.
And you thought I was a salesman and an evangelist for my projects?

Amazing. Beautiful. Easy. Great. Simple .Incredible. Isn’t it great? Unbelievable!
Winning tonight in Boston would be nice. We would get two more standings points. We would break our franchise’s record for most consecutive victories. Making that kind of history would be nice, but truthfully it would be kind of a muted celebration. We have proven to be a great team now in the regular season over the last three years. Each year we have improved in all facets of the game and statistically we are scoring at a record pace.
But to make history we have to prove it out in the playoffs. I know many of you are worried.
There are still a lot of games left to play this year in the regular season and I worry. I worry about our health, our momentum, and our mental health. I always worry. I worry about our “D”, our “O”, our goal tending, our special teams, our videos, and our fans. I worry about worrying! I worry for you so you don’t have to. So stop worrying. Enjoy the ride. Wish us luck tonight. Wish us luck the rest of the season. Wish our players luck in the Olympics. Wish us luck for the last 20 games. Wish us luck in the playoffs, if we make the playoffs. Don’t jinx us. Don’t worry. I will do the worrying for you. You can off shore your worrying to me. I am the chief worrying officer. The CWO of the Washington Capitals. So relax. Be happy. Worried about being happy? Don’t be. Go Caps!
Thank you for all those long term Caps fans out there and for the new fans too. Here is a wonderful blog post about the old time Caps and the other great winning streak.
The Washington Capitals have a fantastic collective experience and history. It was and it is a great franchise with great fans. All that is missing from our resume is a Stanley Cup.
Old time fans, new fans, and loyal fans - that is all we want right now. Winning streaks are terrific. Garnering points as we are doing is fun but we know where our bread is buttered and what we need to do.
Kick back, read and enjoy this post.
