Step to the Left - Now Step to the Right…

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

No one can win and everything is up for debate.

A surge is good but, no, it is not a surge. :-)

Step to the left now move to the right.

And thank goodness Michael Moore will soon weigh in.

Now this is cool. Photo evidence within. Coolest President-Elect ever!

LOOK

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

“Look”, that is the new word to start every sentence with and it is what our President-Elect does.

Look, think I am kidding? Check him out as he says in response to a question, “Look, as I said during my campaign”….”Look, our country needs a new direction”…”Look, we can’t rehash failed policies of the past.”

Look is the new “in” word;

Look. It is better than starting a sentence with “you know”;

Look is so much better than “Listen”;

Look. ”At the end of the day” is certainly passe;

Look. ”Let me say this about that” went out in the 70’s;

Look. You can no longer start sentences with “well” to buy time;

Look is more visionary than “hmmmm”;

Look…Look is here to stay. Got it?

Look. ”Look - thank you.”

America - What a Country

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Now is the time to come together as a nation and to get back to work.

No more fighting. No more talking. All sacrifice and dedication and focus to work together to make America a great country once again. Unified and organized to succeed and to redefine the American Dream. America has always been about hard work and about positive outcomes and independence and doing the right thing the right way. It is the shining light in a shadowy world. It is about diversity; youth and promise; energy and passion about Democracy; and a collective will to do good.

We should be proud of ourselves. America has always been about change and about restlessness and fighting status quo. We are - at our heart - revolutionaries and the good fight was fought and won. The better candidate won. Our new President-Elect had a clearer message; a better organization; more resources; better plans; a great use of the web; and an uplifting message that America responded to overwhelmingly!

Both candidates brought honor to the democratic process of electing a President. But now we are no longer Republicans or Democrats, we are Americans. We have elected a new President. He has a mandate and a majority in the Senate and Congress. The country asked for and demanded change and we will now get it. Let us all work together to help make America great again. It feels like a great man once said, “Morning in America”. Wake up now and let us get back to work.

This is Spot On

It actually feels like Obama is running a campaign for re-election now! He is actually now our sitting President. :-) If Hillary Clinton was considered ”inevitable” then Obama is “ordained”, at least by mainstream media.

I bought Rolling Stone magazine. I have never seen a cover like that one before. I get People magazine at home and there is the Obama family on the cover. Every channel leads with an Obama story. How can he not win?

Yet today, I was at a breakfast and one of the gentleman who happens to be a Republican operative made mention, ”This isn’t about words and pictures, Ted. It’s about math.” He didn’t think the election is over.

I won’t tell you who I think will win but I do believe the media has spoken by its acts - and coverage - but that some people believe that math will win out. Time will tell but this will be the most interesting election that I can remember. Read this story.

Political Contributions

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

We will give the max political contribution to both Obama and McCain. Who we vote for is our own personal decision. Whoever wins, we hope they will enjoy coming to Caps games next year. We have many friends that are involved with both parties. We tend to support them all and we believe in the political system. Get involved; contribute; volunteer; and most of all…get out and vote.
