You Can’t Go To The Caps Convention…

Unless you have a ticket! And we are totally sold out.

Thank you for your support.

This event has become a huge undertaking for us all and we are pleased to do it because our fans seem to love this event. The alumni love it, too.

The Convention keeps growing and growing as well.

My goal is to keep it manageable and fun. It isn’t a business for us. It is more of a thank you for being such great fans.

I look forward to seeing you all tonight at the pre-season game; tomorrow at the Convention; and Sunday at the pre-season game.

I also intend to go to the Wizards Fan Fest on Sunday as well.

Double your pleasure - double your fun!

Caps Convention

I”m on my way to do one of my favorite things – mingle with 5,000 of my closest and best friends – fans of the Washington Capitals. I am so looking forward to our first Capitals Convention.

We will learn a lot. We will share a lot. We will have a lot of fun with staff, fans, players, league officials and media.

Bringing together this big community of interest and having some fun is my goal today.

To the 5,000 of you who believed this was a good new innovative idea, thank you for your support.

I am sure we will have some kinks to iron out in this convention format. We will listen to our fans and make it better and better over the years. But I see no risk in bringing together our communities all in one place and time. This should be a positive, happy day. I am excited. Go Caps!
