The win last night was professional grade.

We have much depth and secondary scoring this season; we are hard to defend because the scoring comes from so many places. We seem to be developing a real team scoring mentality.

I am happy that our goal tending shows great depth as well.

And we are weathering the loss of Mike Green on the blue line; as John Erskine is now back and logging big minutes .

We are 9 and 2 – 18 points all in. We have 71 games left to play – an amazing amount of games left to play this season with the next one tonight against the Islanders.

Some Perspective on Our D Men Tonight

We pay – collectively - the six starting D men this evening what we pay Mike Green.

Our D is missing Green, Schultz, Poti, Erskine and on an ongoing basis Pothier.

We are missing five key starting defensemen for our club and if you add in Fedorov, who can also play defense, you can see how shorthanded we have become on the blue line.
