There is a great new book out called Trade-Off: Why Some Things Catch On, and Others Don’t by author Kevin Maney. Kevin is a long time tech and media reporter and has worked at USA Today and Portfolio. He has written a Tipping Point-like book about quality vs. convenience. I just finished reading the book and all I can say is, “WOW!” It is smart; easy to digest; very helpful; and direct and to the point.
I am flattered that some of my concepts and ideas have influenced Kevin’s thinking. He even talks about AOL in the good old days and today’s Washington Capitals in this great tome.
