I met Mike Knuble and his wife the other day at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. He is a very nice man; a family man; a true veteran presence; and a big strong guy. He looks like a hockey player and he talks like a hockey player. He will be a welcomed addition to our team and our community. We have offered to help his family assimilate well into our community and we are here to serve him and his wife.
Almost all of the players in the NHL are truly great people. They understand the ultimate goal we all share - to win a Stanley Cup. They are all about team; team dynamics; and a healthy respect for their coach and the fan base. These folks are modest, focused, mature and love the game.
